Use your Palm Centro as internet modem (via Bluetooth/USB)

Recently I tested using my Palm Centro as a network modem and let my iMac to go online via EDGE service. It is really good when you carry your notebook to somewhere without WiFi connection but you can still go online via your Centro phone.

I followed the instructions from the Palm support site, DUN (Dial Up Network) document.
http://www.palm.com/us/support/DUN/index.html

Surf the web on your laptop using your smartphone's Internet connection ¹ ²
Dial-up networking (DUN) is the feature that converts your smartphone into a modem³ so that you can access the Internet from your laptop computer. By connecting your smartphone to your laptop, you can surf the Internet, send and receive email using your favorite email application, and access files from a server — just as you would if you were using DSL, cable Internet, or Wi-Fi.

The only problem I encountered is that telephone number field in the dial-up tool on the Mac OS X (or Windows?) should fill in the isp APN name instead of the phone numbers.

Happy Surfing with your Centro:)
